Thanksgiving Recap

Happy Cyber Monday everyone!  I hope you are full of turkey leftovers and well rested in time to start the Christmas Season!

Thanksgiving is my mom's favorite holiday, so it's not just one day with a meal--it's more of a weekend!

We started Thanksgiving on Wednesday with my dad brining the turkey all day!

Wednesday night, most of our family came over for an Oyster Roast and appetizers!

After the Oyster Roast, everyone enjoyed themselves by the bonfire.  We had a really great time talking and laughing!

Thursday AKA Turkey Day started bright and early!  I woke up early to help cook and to set up our Bloody Mary and Mimosa Bar.

We had lots of fun garnishes, spices, and of course...BACON!  It was a great way to entertain everyone while they waited on lunch.

We also had a photobooth!  Clearly, Daniel and I had tons of fun with it!

Thanksgiving lunch consisted of 19 people this year, so we definitely had to get creative with how to fit them all at the table.  I think our solution was really great and beautiful!  We had 4 tables put together and took up most of the living room!

After lunch, everyone was exhausted so we did tours of our house and then just laid around on the porch!

Some of us even took naps :)

We woke up on Friday and continued the festivities with more photobooth fun and life-sized Jenga!

I Hope you had a festive and fun Thanksgiving!  I'm so thankful for a big family with so much love to celebrate with!
